The Gallium Pro is the flagship gold standard for Argon 18 road bikes. This bike is built with the same exact geometry as that Tour de France stage-winning machine for a lower price. A slightly lower grade of carbon keeps the price of this frame down while keeping it light and not taking away from what makes the Gallium great. Compromise is not an option with the Gallium. This bike will simultaneously stand out on the toughest climbs and on high-speed chases. Anyone looking for an affordable machine to maximize their potential will enjoy riding the Gallium.
The Gallium Disc manages to stay incredibly light for amazing climbing even with its disc brake compatibility. Pushing the limit of their carbon lay-up has allowed Argon 18 to build bikes that just barely scrape by the UCI weight standard. They were able to accomplish this through 3D modeling and carbon molding, bringing this bike to the next level. Even the carbon fork of the Gallium has been improved to shave off even more weight. The lighter fork is still just as stiff as previous models, maximizing performance.
The disc-ready fork as well as the rest of the frame is made with stiff carbon to put the sprinting power of this bike on par with its climbing. The press-fit 3D offers three headtube heights. This range helps preserve five to 11 percent more frontal rigidity than standard spacers. Overall, this version of the Argon 18 Gallium is stiffer than any other Gallium model they have ever made. Argon 18 boasts the Gallium as one of the better gap-closing climbing bikes out there.
The aggressive race-ready geometry of the Argon 18 Gallium Disc has been dialed in over the years and tested in the biggest World Tour races. The refined seatpost is easily adjustable and more compliant than ever for a comfortable ride on an aggressive machine. This type of attention to detail has led to redesigned internal cable routing that is seamlessly integrated through the frame. The fork of the Gallium allows for up to 28mm tire clearance for more comfort and versatility.
If you are looking to build an incredibly fast and light bike at an affordable price, the Argon 18 Gallium frame is a great place to start. You will be able to use a huge range of groupsets and fit this bike perfectly to your body and preferences. On your Argon 18 Gallium Disc, you will feel confident in any race stage. Excellent speed combined with great braking and steering gives you all-around performance. Climbing and closing gaps will be equally advantageous to you on this versatile and professional-level machine.
