ABOUT THE BATAVUS STRATOS

Stratos takes the best from the sports bike and the best from the everyday bike. This way, you get a city bike that is lightweight and fast and which is also not demanding, in terms of maintenance, as the bike comes with both 7 internal gears and hydraulic disc brakes.

The hydraulic disc brakes, like other brakes, are not driven by a brake cable but by brake fluid. A technique that originates from the car and ensures a powerful and accurate braking. At the same time, they also ensure you a low level of maintenance, as the wheels of the bike are not worn.

The model is, like the rest of our bikes, lacquered in a high quality paint, which makes it extra durable. It is lacquered on our own lacquer in the Netherlands and lacquered with a water based lacquer. If you need to use the bike as an everyday bike, it comes ready for locks and screens. You can therefore make it even more suitable for everyday use, depending on your needs.

Stratos is a top quality city bike, so you are guaranteed the feel of the sport bike. The look of the bike is also inspired by the retro sports bike, so you get a super cool city bike. In addition, Stratos gives you all the comfort that you know from the regular city bike. It is perfect for both everyday trips and exercise trips and you can, as needed, turn up and down for the everyday rope.

It is in Batavus' DNA that we produce quality bicycles. And for Batavus, the design of the bikes means just as much as the quality.
In Denmark we sell the Danish collection, as well as selected models from the Dutch collection. Part of our design vision is that each Batavus bike has its own character, along with good comfort and quality. Batavus is an environmentally conscious organization and the factory in the Netherlands has a unique and eco-friendly coating procedure . The paint shop has its own water treatment plant and all the paints we use are also water based.
