URGESTALT RIM FRAMESET INFORMATION

The Lightweight Urgestalt Rim Frameset is an incredibly balanced road bike that is great for race day or a fun day on the road. The goal was to develop the perfect carbon road bike and that task was undertaken by a group of carbon specialist engineers. These engineers used materials and processes that can often be found in automotive and aerospace industries, assuring the most advanced technology went into creating the Urgestalt frame. The goal of the Lightweight Urgestalt is to give riders an all-around experience, complete with maximum stiffness, minimal weight, and high-quality durability.

The Urgestalt frame is made with a lightweight ultra-high-modulus full-carbon layup. Each frame size gets its own specialized individually layered structure to assure a proper fit for riders across all sizes. This ensures consistency of lateral stiffness and vertical compliance in each frame. Overall, this frame comes in at an average of just 820 grams with conveniently aligned carbon layers, a carbon frame, a carbon fork, and a carbon wheel forge. This integration creates a relationship between the bike and rider for an optimal balance of performance and comfort on the road.

A naturally aggressive geometry is featured on the Urgestalt but it is not so aggressive that you will feel uncomfortable over long distances. This lets you build a bike that will be perfect for anything from typical road riding to crits or Gran Fondos. In addition to optimal power transfer and lightweight climbing ability, you can expect effortless handling and sharp cornering with great directional stability. The frame fits well with any of the world-class wheels along the Lightweight line and will also accommodate any electronic or mechanical groupset. Internal cable routing keeps a sleek look and convenient ride. Compatible with lightweight and reliable rim brakes, the Lightweight Urgestalt is a balanced machine for top of the line road performance.
