RANSOM 900 TUNED BIKE INFORMATION

The Scott Ransom 900 Tuned is a high-level carbon endurance bike that can take on all challenges on the trail. This full suspension bike is extremely compliant to deal with trails that are riddled with rocks and roots. The Ransom is excellent at flying up climbs and tackling technical descents smoothly. A stiff frame also helps riders hit high speeds on flat ground and rip around turns. While the Scott Ransom is considered an endurance bike, it is far more than that as a complete and versatile machine. Anyone looking for a trail crusher with low weight and distance riding capabilities can take on their best times on a Ransom.

The frame of the Scott Ransom 900 Tuned is made with Scott’s HMX Carbon Fiber, their most advanced and lightweight material. It also features carbon components including an integrated iC integrated bar and stem combo. These features make the Scott Ransom 900 Tuned one of the lightest bikes in the endurance class. HMX carbon, used in Scott racing road bikes, is incredibly stiff which leads to playful handling and efficient power. All of this technology lead to the Ransom winning a 2019 Design and Innovation Award. The Scott Ransom 900 Tuned can get away with virtually anything on the trail, making it one of the most efficient long travel endurance bikes in the world.

A TwinLoc suspension with three modes to accommodate any level of compliance needed. The Scott Ransom features 170mm of both rear and fork travel that can be locked out in progression. This is especially useful on technical climbs. The shock progression adjustment of the shock ensures the support and balance of weight distribution. Flip chip technology adjusts the bottom bracket to accommodate 27.5 or 29” wheels, depending on personal preference. This version of the Scott Ransom is equipped with a SRAM X01 Eagle 12-speed groupset for fast and reliable shifting. The Ransom 900 Tuned is an elite endurance bike that can take on any challenge the trail has to offer.
