The Evil Calling is a fun bike that breaks the mold. Evil refers to the Calling as a “bike shaped skateboard.” This fun 27.5-incher is the perfect companion for ripping around technical trails, hitting fast lines, or taking an all-day trip through the woods. This bike is the little brother of the Following with 27.5-inch wheels and 130mm of rear travel along with a Fox Float DPX2 suspension. This playful trail bike has a low and slack geometry that helps you hit fast lines with excellent stability. With the Evil Calling, you can rip around corners just as easily as you can hammer technical descents.
A versatile geometry is what helps this frame perform at such a high level on all different kinds of terrain and technical trails. Flip Chip technology can be used to easily alter the headtube angle and bottom bracket height. You can seamlessly toggle between its low and X-Low settings depending on what type of ride you have ahead of you. The DELTA Pivot system also lowers the need for shock dampening so you can run an open shock, even on tough trails. A linkage driven single pivot allows for maximum adjustability and quick tuning, topping off the most customizable ride feel on the market.
The lightweight carbon frame of the Evil Calling is incredibly stiff and great at climbing and whipping around tight corners. This frame is still very durable despite its low weight and carbon build. A downtube protector keeps the frame safe from tough landings and unexpected roots or rocks. It also features rubber protection for chainstays and seatstays which keeps things quiet while avoiding abrasion or other damage to your frame. The chain guide helps your pedal stroke stay smooth and efficient and also features a bash guard to keep it safe from the elements and your rugged riding style.
Internal cable routing is an important feature of the Evil Calling. This will keep your cables out of the elements and out of your way as you rip the trails. The Calling frame is a blank canvas for you to fill anyway you like to suit your personal preferences. If you are looking for a nimble bike that can do it all from bombing descents to all day rides and flat sprints, the Evil Calling will give you that versatile performance in an incredibly fun package.
