The frame of the Yeti SB140 C2 is made with their C-Series carbon fiber. This material is less expensive than their TURQ carbon, offering a slightly lower modulus option. The SB140 also provides 140mm of rear travel with its Fox Performance DPX2 Shock and 160mm of front travel with a Fox Performance 36 fork. The suspension is centered around Yeti’s Switch Infinity technology which utilizes a patented pivot that switches direction as the bike progresses through its travel. This creates an anti-squat curve while allowing the leverage ratio to be tuned independently. This leads to a bottomless feeling shock and outstanding pedaling performance.
