A carefully tuned geometry was engineered for the Yeti SB165 to thrive on the toughest terrain. It brings out the best performance in its DT Swiss Custom EX1700 27.5” wheels. A steeper seat tube angle and a shorter fork enhance pedaling ability and the bike’s climbing capabilities. When you make your way down the hill, a slacker headtube angle, lower bottom bracket, and a longer reach make it feel like a proper downhill bike. Helping bring out the best in this specially tuned geometry, the T3 version features a SRAM XX1 Eagle groupset for some of the best trail specific shifting on the market.

As its name suggests, the Yeti SB165 offers 165mm of rear travel, an ideal amount of shock for a downhill machine. This version includes a Fox Factory DHX2 shock with a two position lever for high and low speed compression adjustments. The front of the bike adds an additional 180mm of travel thanks to a Fox Factory 38 Grip 2 suspension fork. The suspension is centered around Yeti’s Switch Infinity technology which utilizes a patented pivot which switches direction as the bike progresses through its travel. This creates an anti-squat curve while allowing the leverage ratio to be tuned independently. This leads to a bottomless feeling shock and outstanding pedaling performance.
