LOGOS FRAMESET INFORMATION

Logos is defined in many ways.  To many, it means "word." Here, the Cipollini Logos Frameset is reasoned discourse on the subject of applying power to the pedals.

The Logos is very much a Cipollini.  It makes a dramatic appearance.  It is stiff. It is powerful.  It's made in Italy.  Where the RB1000 is built for someone who has the flexibility of a pro racer and the need to shave every gram of drag possible, the Logos has a more comfortable ride.

As with Cipollini, you can tell something by looking at the bike.  The head tube is at a height that's in the middle of the fit spectrum; you can get low, but you don't have to be low.  The downtube is scaled down in size for a little more ride comfort.  The head angle is dialed back for greater stability.  The mix of Toray T700 and Teijin UTS carbon-fiber plies.

But it's still a Cipollini.  The aggressive seat angle, the tight rear end, and the integrated seat mast all assure that the bike is a rigid platform for driving all your power to the pedals without any waste.  This is also why they chose to build the Logos with a BB386 bottom bracket.  It is big and wide, allowing for both conventional thru-axle cranks and oversized 30mm spindles—both for having more material around the bottom bracket and allowing you to put in the most rigid pipe possible for an efficient drive train.  Underneath the paint, you'll find a mix of Toray 700 and Teijin UTS carbon-fiber plies.  The material are more economic, but not quite as stiff, so more of it is used to keep the stiffness where Mario thinks it needs to be.

This bike doesn't skimp at the front end, either.  The 1 1/8" tapered steerer tube with extra-wide 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" bearings, makes sure that the fork tracks perfectly no matter how much lateral force you put on it.

The integrated seat mast comes with a carbon-fiber clamp atop it.  It's light and strong, and even has room for an internal battery if you choose to go the electronic shifting route.  The clamp has 3cm of adjustment built in.  That, with a 20mm setback, offers plenty of room to fine-tune your position.  If you prefer running your battery externally, there's a spot at the bottom of the downtube already tapped.  And the internal cable routing can be set for mechanical or electronic shifting.

The Cipollini Logos Frameset is a high-end race bike with a geometry everyone can handle.
